2026 OFFICIAL STRUCTURE
Three papers. Two sessions. Keep the paper you need in view.
JEE Main 2026 is conducted by NTA. Paper 1 is the B.E./B.Tech route and also the eligibility test for JEE Advanced; Paper 2A serves B.Arch and Paper 2B serves B.Planning.

Two-session logic
JEE Main 2026 used January and April sessions. A candidate did not have to appear in both; where a candidate appeared in more than one session, the best JEE Main 2026 NTA Score is used for merit/ranking as described in the official bulletin.
After Paper 1
Two pathways can matter: JEE Advanced eligibility and NIT+/other participating-institute admission. They have different rules and should not be collapsed into one “cutoff”.
