JoSAA 2026 manages joint seat allocation for 138 institutes: 23 IITs, IISc Bengaluru, 31 NITs, IIEST Shibpur, 26 IIITs and 56 Other-GFTIs.

Use the official JoSAA portal and current schedule.
Build and lock choices
Order choices carefully; do not confuse a shortlist with the submitted preference order.
Respond to allotment
Seat acceptance, document verification and option handling follow the current Business Rules.
Follow the correct downstream path
IIT/IISc and NIT+ post-allotment/reporting paths can differ; NIT+ candidates may also consider CSAB Special where eligible.
